Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-02

This Privacy Policy describes how KC Dock Door Repair (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the operation of kcdockdoorrepair.com, a commercial service request website serving the Kansas City metropolitan area. By using this site or contacting us through it, you consent to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, you provide information such as commercial-facility status, your role, business / facility name, your name, email, phone, facility address, equipment type and brand, number of dock positions or doors, urgency, documentation requirements, and a description of the failure. Optional photo or file uploads are processed as part of the request.

Call tracking and call recordings. Inbound calls to our published commercial service line use call tracking (CallRail). Calls may be recorded and/or transcribed for quality, routing, and training purposes when that feature is enabled. Recording disclosures are made on the call as required by applicable state and federal law. Call metadata — number called, number calling, duration, source, routing, and timing — is retained for operational and reporting purposes.

Automatically collected data. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used. These services may collect IP address, user-agent, pages viewed, time on page, click and scroll interactions, session recordings, and similar usage data. Both are loaded with a lazy strategy and operate under their respective providers' privacy practices.

Lead management / CRM. Submitted requests and call records may be processed in a lead-management or CRM tool used to organize, qualify, and route requests, manage callbacks, and track outcomes.

Anti-spam. Form submissions may pass through anti-spam services to filter automated and abusive submissions. These services may process limited technical data (IP, user-agent, timing) for that purpose.

How we use information

We use information collected through the site and the call line to (a) review, qualify, and route commercial dock and door service requests; (b) follow up with you regarding your request and any documentation needs; (c) connect you with an independent local commercial provider when one is available and your request fits; (d) operate, maintain, and improve the site and the request line; and (e) comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

Independent commercial providers. We share information you submit with the independent local commercial dock and door service provider assigned to your request so they can prepare for and complete the work. This may include facility, contact, equipment, urgency, and documentation details, plus any uploaded photos. Compensation arrangements with providers may include lead routing, referral, or related commercial arrangements.

Service providers we use. We share data with third-party service providers we use to operate the site — including the form provider (Formspree), call tracking (CallRail), Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and any CRM or lead-management tool — under terms intended to protect your information.

No sale to unrelated data brokers. We do not sell personal information to unrelated data brokers.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, in response to lawful requests, or to protect rights, property, or safety.

Data retention

Submitted information, call records, and analytics data are retained for a reasonable operational period consistent with managing requests, follow-up, reporting, and legal obligations. You may request that we delete personal information you have submitted by contacting us at requests@kcdockdoorrepair.com.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have submitted by contacting us at requests@kcdockdoorrepair.com. You can opt out of analytics collection by enabling browser tracking protections, blocking third-party scripts, or disabling JavaScript. You can request that we stop calling or emailing you at any time.

Third-party providers

Independent commercial providers assigned to your request handle their own data practices, including any records they create in the course of confirming, scheduling, performing, invoicing, or warrantying work. Their practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any independent provider.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information in our systems. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site is intended for commercial facility audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-party links

The site may link to third-party sites we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
