These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of kcdockdoorrepair.com (the “site”), operated by KC Dock Door Repair as a commercial-only service request website for the Kansas City metropolitan area. By using the site you agree to these Terms.
What KC Dock Door Repair is
The site is a commercial dock and door service request and routing line for the Kansas City metro, both Kansas and Missouri sides. Repair work is performed by an independent local commercial dock and door service provider when a provider is available and the request fits.
Commercial requests only
The site is for commercial and industrial facilities — warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, intermodal terminals, cold storage, fleet operations, municipal facilities, and similar commercial properties. Residential garage doors, home garage door openers, boat docks, marina docks, lake docks, dock construction over water, storefront glass, automatic pedestrian doors, and DIY parts-only requests are out of scope and will not be routed.
Independent providers
Any commercial provider assigned to a routed request operates independently. Insurance, licensing, certifications, parts handling, pricing, scope of work, workmanship warranty, and documentation are the responsibility of the assigned provider. References on the site to insurance, licensing, COI, or documentation handling describe the request-routing process and do not constitute representations about any particular provider.
No guarantee of provider availability
Submission of a request — by phone or by form — does not guarantee that a provider will be dispatched, that a provider is available within any specific time window, or that any particular outcome will result. Availability depends on provider capacity, equipment fit, urgency, location within the metro, parts, documentation requirements, and other operational factors at the time of the request. ETA, rate structure, scope, and documentation are confirmed by the assigned provider before any dispatch.
Emergency request limitations
Urgent and after-hours commercial requests are accepted, but no fixed response-time guarantee is made. Emergency response depends on current provider availability and the specific facility, equipment, and access requirements.
Information you submit
You agree that information you submit through the site or by phone — including facility name and address, contact details, equipment information, and failure descriptions — is accurate to the best of your knowledge and is provided for the purpose of qualifying and routing a commercial service request.
Consent to contact and call recording
When you contact us by phone or by form, you agree that we and the assigned provider may contact you by phone, text, or email at the number or address you provided. Inbound calls to our published commercial service line use call tracking (CallRail) and may be recorded and/or transcribed for quality and routing purposes; recording disclosures are made on the call as required by applicable law. See the Privacy Policy.
Lead routing and compensation
Compensation arrangements between KC Dock Door Repair and assigned providers may include lead routing, referral, or related commercial arrangements. These arrangements do not change the fact that the assigned provider is responsible for quoting, scheduling, performing, and warrantying the work.
Quotes, rates, and payment
Quotes, rate structures, deposits, payment, invoicing, and billing are handled directly by the assigned commercial provider, not by KC Dock Door Repair. Pricing is determined by the assigned provider based on equipment type, parts, scope, urgency, after-hours requirements, and the specific facility.
Workmanship and warranty
KC Dock Door Repair does not perform repair work and does not provide a workmanship warranty for any work performed by an assigned provider. Workmanship and parts warranty, if any, are provided by the assigned provider per their normal commercial process.
Facility access and safety
You are responsible for providing safe, lawful access to your facility for the assigned provider, including any lockout/tagout, escort, PPE, after-hours, badging, or vendor-onboarding requirements. The assigned provider is responsible for performing work safely per their commercial practices and any applicable codes or standards.
Brand names and manufacturer references
Brand names and manufacturer references on the site are used descriptively to identify equipment and describe service requests. KC Dock Door Repair is not owned by, operated by, endorsed by, certified by, or formally affiliated with any equipment manufacturer unless expressly stated. Trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Accuracy of information
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Content is intended to be accurate but is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, to submit false or misleading information, to interfere with the operation of the site, or to attempt to access non-public portions of the site.
Third-party links and tools
The site may include third-party links and tools (for example Formspree, CallRail, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity). Use of those services is governed by the respective provider's terms.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KC Dock Door Repair and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site or any provider engagement initiated through it. Liability is further limited as provided in the arrangement between you and the assigned commercial provider.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Missouri.
Privacy
Use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
